The Atmega 48 is a low power CMOS 8-bit microcontroller based on AVR enhanced RISC architecture. It contains 4Kbytes of In-System self-programmable flash memory, 256 bytes of EEPROM and 512bytes of internal SRAM. It has 23 I/O programmable lines.
